Kate Pike and the Loose Boots are happy humans. Happiest with sweat on their faces and voices tangled in chorus. A little bit folk, a lotta bit punk rock and/or roll, these humans play what they call the Grease Folk.
Grown in the pits of Ktaqamkuk (Newfoundland) Kate’s songwriting brings forth the coast that grew her- harsh and rugged, yet beautiful and alluring.
